Working with KOMANN Consultants on our new home construction was honestly one of the best decisions we made for our home and our sanity. From the first meeting, James made us feel like our project wasn’t just another job on a list. He asked thoughtful questions about how we cook, work, host family, and unwind — and then helped us shape a plan that truly fit our day-to-day life, not just a pretty design on paper.

Throughout the process, James walked us through every major decision: budget, scope, contractor selection, and all the little trade-offs that could easily have overwhelmed us. He reviewed every proposal and change order in detail, pointing out things we would have never caught on our own, and always explained options in plain, honest language. We never felt pressured — just supported.

What really stood out was how personally invested James seemed. When issues popped up behind the walls (as they always do in a remodel), he was calm, solution-oriented, and already a step ahead with options, costs, and schedule impacts. He and the KOMANN team kept in constant communication with us — regular updates, photos, quick texts back when we had questions — so we always felt in the loop even when we couldn’t be on site.

By the time the project was finished, the house looked incredible and worked beautifully for how we actually live. More importantly, we felt confident that the work was done right and that someone had truly been looking out for us from start to finish.
