James is the Principal at KOMANN Consultants and a seasoned real estate development and construction executive with more than 14 years of experience delivering complex capital projects across both the UK and US.

With a background as a general contractor, institutional client representative, and project management consultant for both national and global firms, James has spent his career supporting and leading the successful delivery of more than $900m in real estate projects—including educational campuses, commercial offices, residential, industrial manufacturing facilities, data centers, retail spaces, and religious nonprofit institutions.

James has represented globally recognized organizations including Goldman Sachs, NIKE, and Siemens AG, as well as high-net-worth investors and public agencies. His expertise spans the full development lifecycle — from project inception, site selection, feasibility, and early strategy — to stepping in on distressed or at-risk projects during construction.

At KOMANN, James provides hands-on executive leadership, ensuring disciplined execution, transparent communication, and a relentless focus on client success. He drives a culture built on curiosity, proactive problem-solving, accountability, and collaboration — ensuring every project advances with clarity and confidence.

Outside of work, James is a family man who values time with his loved ones. He stays active through running and hiking with his pet Dobermans and playing football.
